Any doors or hatches required for driver access must be readily operated from both inside and outside the vehicle without the use of tools.

N.7.6

Vehicles must be fitted a towing eye at the front. This must be made of steel bar of between 6mm and 8mm diameter and have a minimum internal diameter of 12mm. The towing eye must be positioned to allow the tow rope to pass freely to the rear of the vehicle without fouling the steering or braking systems.

N.7.7

A substantial diagonally braced rollover bar must be fitted such that it extends a minimum of 35mm above the driver’s helmet.

N.7.8

A second bar must be fitted at least 25mm over the driver’s hands when these are at the 12 o’clock position on the steering bar or wheel.
